Stable. streaked variety from Japan. Leaves are lime green and lemon yellow, a very citrussy variety! Emerges quite early, so needs watching for late frosts. Apparently it is fertile, so could be useful in breeding programmes, but at the time of writing I don’t know of any hybrids from it. Would suit a shady Japanese garden, where moss, pebbles and ferns act as a good foil for it. Grows well in a container.
