Product Description
Hosta Sagae was AHS Hosta of the year 2000. Big, bold plant, best early in the season around May and June, when the margin’s of it’s wedge shaped leaves display a bright gold margin, which fades to a less exciting cream later in the year. Leaves have a frosted green colour with good veining and a little waving, held fairly upright to make a tall clump that can exceed a metre wide. Good in the border in mosr positions, and can aslo make an outstanding big pot specimen, as can be demonstrated by the pants in the photograph here, behind a batch of Hosta Sherbourne Swift
