Hosta Lakeside Ninita is a cracking small variety. Leaves are small and of medium substance, a fresh citrussy yellow green with a good cream margin, and topped by oh-so-pretty pink flowers in June, that really complement the foliage well. Yes, I know I often talk about Hosta flowers, but Hostas are technically lillies, so many do have good flowers. This small Hosta is tough enough for the border, but I prefer her in a pot. Can spread rapidly as it is quite vigorous, so a small pot to start off with but looks good later in a wide shallow container.
