Hosta Snowden

Hosta Snowden is an Eric Smith hybrid of sieboldiana and fortunei Aurea. Large, blue pointed leaves form an arching mound up to 80cm tall and 1.5m wide. The whole is topped off with plenty of delicate white flowers in summer. Sometimes as a nod to it’s parentage a hint of yellow shading can be observed in some of the leaves. An impressive specimen plant for light shade, and I have found that it look superb in a big pot.
