Hosta Patriot is a striking fortunei type. Now a firmly established favourite in many catalogues, but a sensation when it first appeard in the early 1990s. AHS Hosta of the year 1997. Sport of Francee with a very wide white margin. Lack of pigment makes it less vigorous than it’s parent, but still grows reasonably well to about 80cm wide. Try it with Pachysandra as a background.
