Product Description
Taxus Standishii is a wonderful golden columnar form of Yew. The photograph here, in late September in the nursery garden, does not really do it justice, most of the year it is much brighter in colour. Slow to start with, it will increase in growth rate once established. the plant here is about 20 years old. Standishii also has red berries in autumn and early winter, as it is a female form. Apparently it appeared in about 1908 and was awarded an RHS AGM in 1969.
