Unique, striking little plant.Narrow leaves have a cream centre and two tone green margins. It is, however, named for other properties. It’s flower scapes are a conspicuous rosey red colour, and atop of these are small purple flowers, followed by red seed capsules. Generally a smallish plant to about 50cm wide, but can be stronger. Like many white centred Hostas it needs just the right lighting to thrive, ideally out of midday sun, but not heavily shaded. Better in a container than the ground, and can look spectacular in a raised pot where the leaves flow over the edge of the container.
