Hosta Don Stevens

Product Description

Hosta Don Stevens is an unusual variety with glossy leaves of good substance.They emerge deep green with bright gold broad margins, but later fade to creamy white. Flowers are purple with a dark reddish scape. A Mildred Seaver introduction, that provides plenty of interest through the season. A medium sized plant of moderate growth rate, will form a clump to 50cm or so wide. Seems to do better in a little bit of shade. Makes a good container variety, but don’t over pot it.
