Hosta Elsey Runner is a tiny leaved miniature variety.Quite a rare plant now. Has leaves less than an inch long, dark green with purplish lavender flowers on May/June, which are quite large compared to the overall dimensions of the plant but complement it very well when they first start to open. One for the connoisseur, needs careful cultivation in a free draining environment, great with other mini varieties in a bowl display.
