Hosta Lizard Lick is one for the collectors. A small variety with narrow upright leaves, the real surprise comes with the flower stems which can be well over 80cm tall and are dotted with sparsely spaced lavender flowers. I actually quite like the foliage on it, but then I am a bit of a Hosta anorak! The plant in the photograph is not the finest example, there are better photographs of the foliage at https://www.hostalibrary.org/l/l.html where you can see how good the foliage can be in a well maintained plant.
