Product Description

Hosta plantginea is the species that all fragrant hybrids must thank for their scent. The satin sheen on the mid green leaves of this plant is also often passed on. Give this plant a warm sunny spot with plenty of water and it will reward with long pure white aromatic trumpet flowers in august and september, which are not unlike those of Nicotiana. A pity my photograph here can’t be scratch’n’sniff!!
