21st century variety. New small specimen type conifer that is a wonderful bright yellow colour all year round. I haven’t had this variety for long at the time of writing (August 1012), but it would seem that it grows about 15-20cm a year. Being fairly upright it would probably make an eye-catching highlight plant in a border, bed or on a corner. Not sure about putting it in a pot, Thujas can get a bit hungry. Apparently it also makes an excellent hedge to about 120cm or so high, but I have yet to see it used like this.
