Hosta Christmas Tree is one of my favourites. A strong growing plant, dark green leaves with a good cream border streaking back into the leaf with maturity. Lovely powerful corrugated texture. Named for the fact that the flower scapes are sometimes very leafy, giving a pyramidal effect. Definitely some imaginative powers employed there! Excellent specimen to about 60cm tall by 1m wide. The plants shown here are a batch of 1.5 litre plants ready for sale, but it gets more impressive with age.
