We offer a good Compact form of Chamaecyparis Ellwood’s Pillar. The form we grow here is a lovely deep glaucous green tight column, and slower than many offered under this name. Ideal for planting in mixed beds and borders, or a larger container, but I prefer to see it in the ground. Don’t confuse this with faster growing options, it only makes a few inches a year. Full sun and free draining soil for best results.
