Product Description
Hosta Captain Kirk is a strong medium sized variety. It is polyploid, so has a good substance. Grows steadily rather than rapidly, but makes a really robust plant. We have found that it is more resilient than many varieties to some of the hotter summers we are now enduring. The plant in the photograph is just a random sales plant, and is past its best, suffering from a recent heatwave that has bleached the centre color a bit. But believe me, it is a very good variety, much brighter earlier in the season (this photograph was taken in August)
