A venerable variety, once valuable in breeding programmes. I nearly stopped growing this one, but decided it still has enough merit. It is a strong growing plant, with grey green leaves, and our form produces many wonderful bright, compact lavender flower heads. it is of course the plant that Gold Standard sported from, and Striptease sported from that, so we have many great cultivars to thank this plant for.
