Product Description
Hosta Gold Standard is a sport of fortunei Hyacinthina registered by Pauline Banyai back in 1976, making it a very early modern variety. Like its parent plant it is a vigorous grower, and can be very showy in the right position with its bright gold centres and contrasting green borders. It is at the larger end of medium clump size, and is quite tough, will take most positions, but best in the classic morning sun/afternoon shade. Does well in a pot or in the ground.
